more about vacation

Well, I hadn't had a vacation in a long time (christmas of 2005), so Shuzhen and I packed up and went to Rotorua friday through monday. Rotorua is a hotbed for thermal activity. The molten lava, which is so close to the surface, heats the water and causes all sorts of wierd things to happen. Check the video. ;)

In other news, towards the end of the trip I learned that one of the partners in the company I worked for had suddenly died over the weekend. It's really crazy to think of how fragile life is. I wish his family and friends my condolences and sincerest hopes in coping with this.

You guys look like you had a really good time. It looks really scenic, cool place to go.
Thanks for the advice you left on my blog...I'll give "fatalism" a try. It seems kind of incompatible with the church but...who knows?
